Birthday Party RSVP: Track Who's Coming in One Place
A birthday is not a scheduling problem - the date is already decided. What you actually need is a head count: who's coming, how many people to cater for, and whether the people whose presence matters most have seen the invitation at all.
An RSVP page does exactly that. One fixed date, one link, and a running tally you can check instead of counting replies across three different apps.
How it works
- Set the date, the time, and where it is.
- Add a photo if you want the invitation to feel like an invitation rather than a form.
- Turn on plus-ones if partners and kids are welcome, so people can say how many they're bringing.
- Share the link by message, email, or however you'd normally invite people.
- Watch the count climb. Everyone who answers gets a confirmation, and you can see at any moment who hasn't replied yet.
Good for
- Parties where you're paying per head and need a real number
- Milestone birthdays with guests from several different circles
- Kids' parties, where the answer you need is how many children plus how many parents staying
- Any invitation you'd otherwise have to chase individually
Getting a reliable head count
Ask for answers about a week before you have to give numbers to anyone else - the caterer, the restaurant, the venue. People answer close to the deadline, so a deadline a few days ahead of your real one leaves room to chase the stragglers.
Questions people ask
Can guests say how many people they're bringing?
Yes. Turn on plus-ones and each guest enters a number, so your total includes partners and children rather than just names.
Do guests need an account to RSVP?
No. They open the link, answer, and that's it.
Can I see who hasn't answered yet?
Yes. Everyone you invited by email shows up on your own page as responded or still pending, which is what you need to chase them.
Can someone change their answer later?
Yes. Each guest gets their own private link in their confirmation email and can update it any time, which is far better than them quietly not turning up.
What if I need to cancel or move it?
Edit the event and everyone who has answered gets notified by email, so you don't have to message people one at a time.
