Wedding RSVP Page: Track Guests and Plus-Ones in One Place
Wedding RSVPs are the one head count where being wrong is expensive. Caterers charge per plate, seating plans depend on final numbers, and the answers arrive across every channel at once - a text here, a reply card there, a comment at someone else's party.
Collecting them in one place, with each guest able to update their own answer, turns that into a single number you can trust.
How it works
- Set the date, the time, and the venue.
- Add a photo so the page looks like part of your wedding rather than a form.
- Turn on plus-ones so guests can say how many people they're bringing, which is the number the caterer actually needs.
- Share the link - on the invitation, on your wedding website, or by email to the people you have addresses for.
- Track the running total. Every guest gets a confirmation with a private link, so a change of plans updates your count instead of surprising you.
Good for
- Weddings where catering is charged per head
- Guest lists spread across several families and friend groups
- Couples without a separate wedding website
- Anyone who'd otherwise be maintaining a spreadsheet by hand
On timing
Ask for answers about two weeks before your caterer's deadline. Guests reply near the deadline you give them, not the one you actually have, so the gap is what gives you time to chase the last dozen without panicking.
Questions people ask
Can guests bring a partner or children?
Yes, if you turn on plus-ones. Each guest enters how many people they're bringing, so your total is people rather than invitations.
Can a guest change their answer after replying?
Yes. Their confirmation email contains a private link they can use to update it. That's much better than finding out on the day.
Can I see who hasn't replied?
Yes. Everyone you invited by email is listed as responded or pending, which is exactly the list you need for a follow-up round.
Do guests need to create an account?
No. They open the link and answer. Older relatives in particular tend to abandon anything that asks them to register first.
Can I collect meal choices or dietary requirements?
Not as a separate field yet. Most couples ask guests to reply to the confirmation email with dietary needs, or collect those separately once the head count is settled.
